I was awarded my Masters degree in Geoinformatics in May of 2018 from the Geography Department at Hunter College.

As a graduate student I was exposed to a number of geographic concepts and theories. I also worked with technologies like ArcGIS Online, CartoDB, Tableau, and RStudio.

My thesis work focused on the integration of version control systems within Open Government Data platforms to promote Citizen Science innovations.

In 2016 I completed an online graduate certificate program with the Department of Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems at Penn State University.

During this period I learned an immense amount regarding environmental public policy, stakeholder assessments, renewable energy generation methods, and conducted a number of LCA and SWOT analyses.

I graduated from CCNY in May of 2014 with a degree in Geology from the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.

During this time I enrolled and excelled in courses directly associated with understanding complex Earth systems, such as Sedimentology, Hydrology, and Atmospheric Science. I conducted extensive fieldwork collecting GPS coordinates and groundwater samples and succinctly communicated my results in the form of academic reports.

In addition, I gained valuable laboratory experience as a research assistant investigating controlled interactions of bacteria, bacteriophage, and inorganic clays to replicate and model natural dynamics.

I graduated from HSMSE in 2008.

While there I had the opportunity to take courses related to digital electronics, architectural design, and advanced mathematics for college credit.

I am working with DOT in the Asset Management division. I have been tasked with maintaining various geodatabases with python scripts to automate regularly modifying tasks in large datasets.

I have contributed to the development of a citywide predictive Street Deterioration Model using R, SQL, and Python.

I have managed the analysis of historical commitments for all DOT bridge, street, and facility assetsseeking to spatialize and evaluate funding patterns within various political boundaries.

Additionally, I have led the collection and digitization of all NYC street ownership records. Worked in collaboration with Department of City Planning and the respective City Borough President's Topography Departments. Developed QA process for evaluating digitization metrics.

I served as an Americorp Environmental Steward for a 6 month term from May to October in 2016.

During this period I performed essential functions in maintaining shared community gardens in Brownsville New York.

In addition, I helped plan outreach events, led volunteers during planting events, and provided technical support and training to community gardeners.

I worked as an environmental laboratory researcher from August to December in 2015.

During this period I analyzed bulk construction materials for asbestos fibers through various forms of microscopy.

In addition, I performed lead concentration analyses on a variet of construction samples and drafted summary reports.

I interned as the assistant to an independent computer application developer from September 2014 to August of 2015.

During this period I became familiar with standard web development workflows, as well as elements of front-end web design.

I developed a proficiency with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Python.

In addition, I served as his personal typist and vastly improved my typing accuracy and speed.

I interned as a sustainability advisor to a floral event design company from February to May of 2015.

During this period I consulted with the company on low impact product procurement and drafted a report documenting sustainable practices for the surrounding flower district.

I also had the opportunity to work with business representatives of NYC's floral district to determine the potential for a flower district consortium.
